Our good friend Lawrence Beck was recently interviewed by Heidi Volpe, a regular contributor of the popular aPhotoEditor blog, to discuss his Wall Street Journal Magazine editorial assignment shooting the renown Italian super-industrialist, Diego Della Valle.

Beck, no stranger to shooting in Rome was given unprecedented access to the Coliseum — an impressive backdrop for Della Valle — an iconic Italian figure who’s been contributing generously to it’s restoration.
